For my phenakistoscope, I chose to do a design which consisted of Gears, Boxes on a conveyor belt, and a ball bounce around. This was quite a challenging project to achieve, but I did have quite a bit of fun performing the task needed to fulfill it, and I am very satisfied with the results. For my principles of animation, I chose the bouncing ball to convey the principle of squash and stretch, and the other two focal points of my projects were used to convey the principle of Follow-through. For my materials, I used a matter board, and printed onto it using a laser printer, which gives piece its unique golden brown color. This is one of my better works that I have created since beginning my journey into the DMA program. Next to come is my final project for the semester, and I am looking very forward to seeing how it will turn out.
