Rooftop Short Write Up

While watching the Rooftop Short, directed and made by Evelin Stermitz, in the display room, I felt a great sense of something ominous. The woman who appears to pop in and out of the video gives almost a ghost like feel, which gives off the implication that somebody dear to the filmmaker had passed away. What really stood out to me in this short film was the music played with it. I’m not certain what instrument or computer application was used to create the music, however, the powerful delivery of the music set a very dark and melancholy tone to the whole piece.
